Getting to Machu Picchu
The train from Ollantaytambo
Daily trains through the Valley to Aguas Calientes. Around 1 hour 45 minutes. We select the right departure for your entry time.
The bus from Aguas Calientes
The official bus runs every 10 minutes from 5:30am. 25 minutes up the mountain road to the citadel entrance. Your bus ticket is included.

If you would like one, licensed guides are available at the entrance gate for around $40 to $60 per group, no advance booking needed. You have the freedom to explore at your own pace. Rules can change, and we keep this page updated. If anything changes before your travel date, we will email you.
