Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before completing your booking.

Why tickets are non-refundable

Machu Picchu entry permits, train tickets and bus tickets are all issued against specific passenger passport details and tied to a particular visit date. Once purchased from the official operators they cannot be returned, exchanged or transferred. This is the policy of the Ministry of Culture of Peru and the licensed rail and bus operators and applies to all tickets regardless of where you buy them.

If you need to change your date

Date changes are not possible once tickets have been issued. If your plans change you would need to make a new booking for your revised date.

If we cannot secure your tickets

On rare occasions a ticket may become unavailable between the time you pay and when we process your booking. If any one of the three tickets (entry permit, train, or bus) cannot be secured, we refund your entire booking in full. We never deliver a partial booking. We will refund your payment in full within 3 to 5 business days and notify you by email immediately.

Incorrect passenger details

Tickets are issued against the passport details you provide. If details are entered incorrectly and a ticket cannot be used as a result we are unable to offer a refund. Please review all passenger information carefully before completing payment.

Our service fee

Our service fee is included in the ticket price and is non-refundable, except where we cannot secure your tickets. If we cannot secure your tickets, you receive a full refund including the service fee.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback for a valid booking where tickets were delivered we reserve the right to contest the chargeback and provide evidence of delivery.
